John Carter Fan Trailer
I have to admit I've been decidedly underwhelmed by the advertising and promotion Disney provided for John Carter. As excited as I am by the idea of Edgar Rice Burroughs' tale adapted for the big screen (by the same guy who wrote/directed/creatively contributed to most of Pixar's hit films)...well, Disney may have dropped the ball on this one, folks. But it is getting uniformly positive word of mouth via Twitter and Facebook, so there is hope after all.
And then there is this trailer, made by the fine fine people over at thejohncarterfiles.com. Now this looks pretty impressive.
For my part I'm doing what I can to promote this movie among my friends, among strangers and among whomever is reading this blog!

The Walking Dead - Dead Man Walking
A very clever and effective way to promote the second season of The Walking Dead. My only question is: why isn't marketing this inventive and creative here in the United States? Ah well. Don't miss the second season of The Walking Dead on AMC.
