Without a doubt the one major drawback to modern cable company monopolies is the lack of any real late-night horror hosts on local television. Growing up there were a couple hanging around my neck of the woods. But Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) is certainly the most, uhm, memorable.

Wonder Woman - Lynda Carter

Lynda Carter is the definitive personification of Wonder Woman.

I dare any uber-geek to nominate another actress who could even walk in the shadow this actress casts – 32 years after the show went off the air!

 Unfortunately Ms. Carter is probably the reason it's so difficult to mount a new version of the character. She was just so darn great!

Wonder Woman's guest-appearance on the Batman, the Brave and the Bold cartoon. How awesome is this!?!

Seriously, I'd watch a half-hour of Wonder Woman like this. Unfortunately her appearance is only limited to a few minutes. *sigh* Wonder Woman...you're a wonder!
